Okay, so what in the world was I thinking when I made that username?

That's just the thing, I wasn't. I just wrote down the first things that popped into my addled little head. x)

Okay, so here's the way it works:

B = I go to a school called "Bethany University," so the b stands for bethany.
Bubble = a term we use at Bethany to describe how we tend to get wrapped up in campus life and lose touch with the rest of the world.

Okay, so far we have the "bethany bubble." Pretty nifty, eh?

(Okay, I just realized I start my sentences with "Okay" too much.)

Now for the numbers. Believe it or not, they're actually not random. x)

              Do you want to know the meaning?
Do you really really really really want to know?
              Well, even if you don't I'll make you listen anyway.
So ha. Muahaha.. <insert diabolical laughter>

40673.2 is the Stardate on which I was born ( the "." replaced with "P", obviously)  =p

So yeah, I like Star Trek. As you probably already guessed from the stardate thing. I like it a lot. A lot. Like, really a lot.

I'm not a trekkie. I've never been to a convention. I don't even own a costume, or any memorabilia. I've only seen two of the movies (to be fair, one even and one odd), and I don't consider Deep Space Nine to be a "real" Star Trek series. I'm sorry, it's just boring. =p

But still, Star Trek is my favorite Sci-Fi franchise ever. I especially like Voyager (Back off! Tom Paris is MINE!!! B'Elanna Torres can die!!!), followed by TNG (cuz Picard kicks butt while still remaining a perfect gentleman), and TOS (because that's the first Trek I ever watched, and it still holds a special place in my heart.) I'm not too crazy about Enterprise though. I enjoyed it during the original run to some extent, but not looking back its too much like Stargate and all those other sci-fi shows that take themselves too seriously and lack the campy, cheesy trek humor.

Despite my above statement, I also like Stargate: Atlantis, in a different was. You can thank Natasha  for turning me on to that. But somehow John Sheppard's gravity-defying hair pales in light of all of Tom Paris' super hotness/brilliance.

So how did I get here, from introductions? I dunno. And I don't really care. I'm taking one (well actually two) LARGE sleeping pills and going to bed, hopefully before the Basketball game/party or whatever it is starts so that I'll be knocked out by time the noise begins. It really sucks living in a hall right next to the gym on game nights. x)

But no worries. That's what sleeping pills are for right? =B

So...yeah. First posts are always the most awkward, aren't they?
